Trying out Yocan nectar collectors?
Hey everyone,
Which Yocan nectar collector is your favorite? Whether it's the Dyno or the Loki, more and more people are trying them out and sharing their experiences. Feel free to share your go-to nectar collector in the comments!

What is a nectar collector?
Nectar collectors, also known as dab or honey straws, are compact, vertically-oriented dab rigs featuring a tubular design. They are highly portable and can be easily taken apart when necessary. These devices are suitable for dabbing various types of concentrates. Below are the key components of a nectar collector:
Mouthpiece: This is a straw-like component, typically made of glass or silicone, with a flared top. It allows users to inhale dab vapor in a manner similar to sipping through a straw.
Tip: The tip of a nectar collector, available in materials such as titanium, quartz, or ceramic, comes in standard sizes like 10mm or 14mm. It is heated and then directly placed onto the concentrate for dabbing.
Concentrate Container: This is a dish, crafted from food-grade glass or silicone, designed to hold the dab concentrate.
Water Chamber: Incorporated into the body of the nectar collector, this percolator utilizes water to filter and cool the dab vapor before inhalation.

Is Nectar Collector suitable for beginners?
A nectar collector is easier to use than a dab rig. Dabbing with a torch can be a bit challenging, but a nectar collector streamlines the process, requiring fewer steps compared to a dab rig. Simply heat up the tip, apply it to your concentrates, and take a breath in. This straightforward approach is ideal for newcomers who may find traditional torch-based dabbing methods intimidating.

Re: Trying out Yocan nectar collectors?
I haven’t actually used the Yocan nectar collectors yet, but I’ve been pretty curious since people keep talking about how convenient they are. My friend brought a Loki to a get-together, and honestly it was so much less messy than using a rig, plus you don’t need as much setup. That torch-free thing is really helpful, especially if you’re just getting into concentrates and don’t want to deal with complicated gear.
I'm usually more into pod vapes and small devices, so I recently tested the Caliburn G5 KOKO, which is also pretty compact and portable. If you like easy-to-use stuff, you might want to check out those kinds of pod systems too.
