If your vape battery isn’t charging, it’s often caused by dirty connections, a faulty charging cable, or temperature issues. Before assuming the battery is broken, try these quick fixes.

1. Clean the charging port
Dust, lint, or vape residue can block the charging connection. Use a toothpick or cotton swab to gently clean the charging port and 510 threads.

2. Try another cable or adapter
A damaged USB cable or power adapter may prevent charging. Try a different cable or use the original charger if possible.

3. Check the center pin
For 510-thread batteries, the center pin may get pushed down. Carefully lift it slightly with a toothpick if needed.

4. Turn the device on
Some devices need to be activated by pressing the power button five times quickly.

5. Let the battery return to room temperature
Extreme heat or cold can stop the battery from charging temporarily.
