Yocan Vaping Forum

The Yocan Iris dab pen has been making waves in the vaping community, and today, we're going to take an in - depth look at what this device has to offer.
Package Contents

When you unbox the Yocan Iris, you'll find a well - equipped package. Inside, there's the Iris device itself with the QTZ coil already installed. Alongside it, you get an instruction manual, which is essential for getting started, especially for those new to the device. There's also a pick tool, perfect for handling your wax, and a charging cable. While some similar devices come with a spare coil, it seems the Yocan Iris may not include one standardly, but it's still a comprehensive package.

Design and Build Quality
The Yocan Iris presents itself with a sleek and compact design. At first glance, some might even mistake it for a cart battery, but don't be fooled. Its aluminum alloy body gives it a solid feel in the hand. It's not too large, fitting comfortably within the grasp, much smaller in comparison to devices like the Uni 3.0 Plus. The magnetic feature adds a touch of convenience, making it easy to handle and assemble parts.

The device comes with a Type - C port, which is not only convenient for charging but also supports two operating modes: auto mode and on - demand (manual) mode. In auto mode, a quick double - click of the button gets things going, while in on - demand mode, you simply press and hold the button. With a 900 - milliamp hour battery, you can expect a decent amount of use before needing to recharge.

Using the Yocan Iris
Using the Yocan Iris is relatively straightforward. To turn it on, you give the button five quick presses. Adjusting the voltage is as simple as pressing the plus or minus buttons. When it comes to loading your wax, the porous quartz bowl does the job, though some users might prefer a ceramic bowl.
