Tried the New Yocan Orbit 2.0 — The Flavor Really Surprised Me
Hazy recently got her hands on the new Yocan Orbit 2.0, and after putting it through a few sessions, her reaction was pretty clear: this is a wax pen built around flavor, smooth hits, and easy everyday use.
Right out of the box, the Orbit 2.0 comes with everything needed to get started, including a Type-C charging cable, silicone mouthpiece cover, cleaning swabs, dab tool, quartz terp pearls, quartz cup, and glass mouthpiece.
But the real highlight is what happens once you start using it.
The Orbit 2.0 uses a coilless quartz cup together with spinning quartz terp pearls. According to Hazy, the pearls begin moving as soon as you inhale, helping mix the concentrate and create a smoother, more even session.
“These terp balls are no joke,” she said. “As soon as you start hitting it, they spin and it mixes your goodies up, makes it smooth.”
At 3.4V, she immediately noticed the flavor. There was no burnt taste, and the concentrate stayed flavorful throughout the session.
“The flavor is there. There’s no burnt taste. It tastes amazing.”
When she increased the voltage to the maximum 3.8V setting, the Orbit 2.0 produced noticeably bigger clouds without becoming harsh.
“That’s where you’re going to get your cloud action. It’s not too strong. It’s not going to burn your throat.”
Another thing that stood out was how efficiently the quartz cup heated the concentrate. Instead of burning through everything at once, Hazy found that the Orbit 2.0 delivered a slower, more controlled session while still leaving material for additional hits.
She described it as a “nice slow burn,” adding that she especially liked being able to enjoy the flavor without wasting her concentrate.
The OLED screen also makes it easy to see and adjust your settings, while the device offers adjustable voltage from 2.8V to 3.8V, a 10-second preheat mode, and a 15-second safety cutoff.
Beyond performance, Hazy also praised the lightweight design and clear glass mouthpiece, which lets you see what’s happening inside the chamber while you use it.
Her final impression?
“Per usual with Yocan, they have completely aced the flavor, the clouds, the everything.”
For users who care about getting strong flavor at lower settings while still having the option for bigger clouds at higher voltage, the Yocan Orbit 2.0 looks like a solid upgrade to the Orbit lineup.
