Yocan Pocket vs Pocket Mini — The Smaller Device That Wins Me Over

First Impressions
Yocan has two pocket-sized wax pens that had me stuck for a while: the Pocket and the Pocket Mini. Coming from a Yocan Uni 2.0, I wanted a real step up in power, and I could not decide whether the ceramic mouthpiece lining and the side charging port were worth leaving the older chamber behind.

What's Actually Improved
The Cloud 2.1 chamber in the Pocket Mini is the real star of the show. It holds heat really well and puts out satisfying clouds without scorching the rosin, even at lower temps. Compared to the older 3.0 chamber, the 2.1 feels like a genuine leap, with better heat retention and cleaner flavor in a smaller package. If you are weighing the 2.1 against the 3.1, here is the honest read: the 3.1 (now shipping on the original Pocket) is fully ceramic and really delicious, but the 2.1 in the Mini still holds its own and then some.

Performance
For everyday use, the Mini handles heat beautifully, and the side charging port is a nice quality-of-life touch, no more hunting for a bottom port. It is a compact device that punches well above its weight. One small wish: I would love to see Yocan sell that ceramic mouthpiece as a standalone accessory so owners of the original can upgrade too, fingers crossed.

Bottom Line
If you are stuck between the Pocket and the Pocket Mini, I would go with the Mini. The 2.1 chamber delivers where it counts, and if you want to future-proof, snag a 3.1 as your eventual replacement chamber. Small, powerful, and easy to love.
