Yocan Pocket Mini Review: Pocket E-Rig, Ceramic Chamber

Post by rogervape »

A medical-patient reviewer who used the original Pocket calls the Yocan Pocket Mini a pocket-sized e-rig: smaller and thinner than the full-size Pocket, with a removable ceramic-coated cap, 360-degree ceramic heating, and an OLED temp screen.

What's in the box

Pocket Mini body, USB-C cable, loading tool, a few Q-tips, and a handful of terp pearls. The reviewer says they like that Yocan includes multiple pearls rather than just one or two spares.

Design and build

It's noticeably smaller and thinner than the original Pocket, but the battery barely took a hit — 1300 mAh here versus 1400 mAh on the full size, roughly 15 sessions on a charge versus about 17. The cap and mouthpiece are now removable, and the inner surfaces are ceramic-coated, which the reviewer says makes cleaning faster and keeps the taste cleaner.

Heating and temperature

360-degree ceramic heating element with a ceramic dish and stainless-steel outer shell. Temperature range is 400 to 580 degrees Fahrenheit in 5-degree steps, shown on an OLED screen. Five clicks power on, three clicks cycle the heat setting, and you tap to nudge by one degree. It heats up in a couple seconds.

Rainbow LED and dab counter

A rainbow LED band around the base shifts red, blue, green and yellow as the device heats up, and there's a dab counter on screen so you can see how many sessions you've logged.

Cleaning

The new cap is smoother inside — no divots or grooves like the original, so a Q-tip passes through it in one swipe. The reviewer Q-tips after every session and soaks the removable parts in 91% isopropyl once a month for up to 30 minutes, then air-dries.

Verdict

He calls it a pocket-sized e-rig that stays discreet enough for public use, with fast heat-up, adjustable temp, and a removable ceramic cap that keeps flavor clean.
