They leak like a sieve, and foul the battery and battery connection.
I'm done with them.

NOTES:

* - Pure
Pure, of course, has no meaning, since it is undefined. Which makes it a rather silly specification. "Pure metal" could mean pure cadmium, pure arsenic, pure lead, pure mercury, etc.

** - Coil Type
While cleaning, I noticed that 151 proof ethanol ran right out of the QDC cup, and the ethanol STAYED PUT in the CDC Ceramic cup. Which would indicate that the concentrate content of the CDC is less likely to run down through the "Base" during use, and foul the top of the battery.
