Yocan Black Pocket Mini — Smaller, Sleeker, and Actually Better in Real Use
Hey everyone,
I've been testing out the new Yocan Black Pocket Mini for about a week now, and I wanted to share my first impressions since I know a lot of folks were curious about whether the mini version is actually worth the upgrade over the regular Pocket.
First Impressions
Right out of the box, the size difference is immediately noticeable. The Mini genuinely fits in your pocket much easier than the original Pocket — it's slimmer, more discreet, and I found myself carrying it around without even thinking about it. That portability factor alone is a big win for me.
What's Actually Improved
After using it daily, here are the things that stood out:
I've been using it with live hash rosin and live resin/diamond dust so far, and the hits have been great. The flavor comes through clean, and the vapor production is solid for such a compact device.
Bottom Line
If you loved the original Pocket but wanted something even more pocketable and with a few quality-of-life improvements, the Mini delivers. It's not a huge overhaul, but the tweaks they made are the ones that actually matter day to day.
Would love to hear if anyone else has picked one up yet and what your thoughts are!

After using it daily, here are the things that stood out:
- Temperature control: Much easier to navigate through the settings now. No more fumbling trying to find the right temp.
- Mouthpiece design: This is a big one. The new mouthpiece comes apart in two pieces, which means it cools better and is way easier to clean. No more gunk buildup being a nightmare to get out.
- Cloud 2.1 chamber: Deeper than the 3.1 on the regular Pocket, and noticeably less spillage. That alone might be worth the upgrade for anyone who's dealt with leaking issues.
