Yocan Kodo User Guide: Common Issues & Quick Fixes

We’ve noticed a few recurring questions from Kodo users, so here’s a quick guide to help you get the best experience out of your device.

1. “No Atomizer” Issue
This usually comes down to a connection problem, most often with the cartridge. Try removing the cart and gently adjusting the center pin to improve contact. Then reconnect everything securely. Keeping the contact points clean can also help prevent this issue.
2. Choosing the Right Voltage Level
The Kodo offers multiple voltage settings, and choosing the right one depends on your cartridge and preference:

• Lower voltage: smoother hits, better flavor, less harsh

• Medium voltage: balanced performance

• Higher voltage: stronger vapor, but can be harsher and may wear out the cartridge faster

If your cartridge doesn’t specify a range, it’s best to start low and gradually increase until you find your sweet spot.
3. How to Clean Your Device
Regular cleaning helps maintain performance:

• Power off the device and remove the cartridge

• Use a cotton swab with a small amount of alcohol to clean the 510 connection and contact points

• Wipe the exterior with a dry cloth

• Avoid getting any liquid inside the device

Keeping your device clean and using compatible cartridges will go a long way in ensuring a smooth experience.
